Surprisingly not that bad! I had low expectations for any movie I see on Netflix, but this was one of the better terrible movies I’ve seen. Dead Silence had the suspense of a crime thriller that meets the horror of an urban legend that meets Donnie Wahlberg. You’ll understand that more once you read our Things I Fear Movie Review of Dead Silence. Then again, you might not understand it any better.

Dead Silence is about a dummy (like a ventriloquist dummy. Not a slow-witted individual) who…well, it’s really about a woman who got her tongue ripped out. But the dummy is creepy. There are 101 dummies buried with their master. She was murdered and elected to be buried with them because that’s the most practical method when it comes to the sensitive issue of the recently deceased. Anyway, so while she’s busy being 6 feet under with dolls, Donnie Wahlberg (can’t remember if it’s him or just sort of looks like him) is harassing a guy whose wife was just murdered. One thing leads to another and they end up joining forces to combat evil. Or something like that. Oh, there’s also an insane woman who hugs a stuffed bird and hides in a crawl space. At least one scene benefits from that fact.

Admittedly, I was not expecting that big twist at the end of the movie. They did a good job with that part, but it also kind of seemed like they wrote the twist before the rest of the movie. I mean, it was cool but did seem a little out of place. But what do I know? Lots. Which is why I was able to develop this Dead Silence Movie Review. But I am almost open to hearing your thoughts on it by connecting with us on Facebook!

Editors Note: Why is this Dead Silence Review so short? I wonder if every Review should be this short…
